Hi fellow City folk, I thought I would let you know that Andy Saxton has been in touch to say that he is very well & busy with his job in Docklands & his training has dropped a bit due to work demands. Though I'm sure he could quickly pick it up!
He also likes the web site & says to say hello!
Also we have had the wonderous return of Andy Kness, who is still attending his Thursday college course, I must say his jokes are just as bad (but really funny) & he has a whole new range of tales to tell - so come along Tuesday's & welcome him back!
For a bunch of students who always have plenty to say - I'm amazed at how quite this part of the site is?
So come on you Karateka let's get some words down, we have a Club grading next Thursday - David, Ian, Kevin, Matt, Shahinoor - are you guys looking forward to it1(HA! HA!)
Maybe some of our younger students may have something to say? (they have plenty to say in the class - & you can't argue with any of it) - over to you.
I must just finish up saying I read so many articles on how Karate Clubs should be run, what training thay should do, Karate is a Martial Art (it is), how Karate compares with other Martial Arts for the street etc.or with other Disciplines etc., or it shouldn't be for fun! well the other Thursday at the end of a lesson we all stood around & sang 'Happy 8th Birthday' in a Hospital Hall surrounded by disused hospital beds to one of our younger students & we all thoroughly enjoyed it - Great Club Spirit or not ? what do you think?
