Hi to you fellow Guildhallers
I would just like to say thank you, well done & congratulations - thank you for the great support you gave the Club on Sunday - there were 12 Guildhall students in attendance, either competing, demonstrating or refereeing/judging. Also I would like to thank all the families, partners, friends that made trip over to give their valuable support to their loved ones - I'm sure it was much appreciated by them.
Well done to both the demonstration teams, Tom & Philip, + Caitlan, Eleanor & Aimee for their wonderful displays ( a lot of preperation was put in!). Also well done to Aimee, Eleanor, Cailtan, Trevor, Matt, Andy,Ian, Kevin & David for competing. Also well done to Tom for Judging in the Kata events.
Congratulations to Ian 1st, Trevor 2nd & Matt 3rd placings in the 8th - 6th kyu Individual Adult Kata event.
I really enjoyed the day, the atmosphere was great, some great fights at the end of the day & seeing the children competing & walking away with big smiles on their faces afterwards said it all.
Tonight we trained at our new dojo & the feedback was very positive indeed, this should be our 'home' for the next 2-3 years ( I can count this as our 20th Dojo in 16 years - there could be more). At the moment Tuesday evenings 5.30 p.m. & Thursday 12.30 p.m.(at the moment) with lots of pressure on me now to re-instate our Monday lunchtime lesson - with your support - SO WATCH THIS SPACE!
