Hi Guys I'm glad you like the new Studio, Tom, me & all the City Sports Commitee worked quite hard to fight to get the studio/gym provided, and I think it is of a great benefit to the City Corporation and Guildhall Wado Kai. well that's the good news, the bad news is that to keep our regular Thursday position- two other groups are now using the Monday slot - which means we could look at another available slot. The Studio use is for all the Sports Clubs, so let's see what develops - just give me time.
I honestly have spent the last 16 years looking at many Halls, (and met many people), quite a few were not suitable for our needs. Here is a list of them that I can remember;
City Corporation - The Great Hall, The Livery Hall, The Old Library, the Print Room, The East & West Crypts, The Members Dining Rooms, Committee rooms,
Wood Street Police Station - Sir Rolph Halll & squash courts (not at the same time -HA! HA!)
Cuty of London Boys School - The Fencing Hall, the dining room, the Sports Hall,
Guildhall School of Music & Drama - Orchestra (?) pits, music rooms, the Sports Hall
St. Alphage Tower - 11th Floor
St. Barts Hospital - ( blood donor's Hall)
Offices at Finsbury Circus - Different Rooms (yes at the same time)
St. Alphage - Studio , London wall
There must be more ? (phew)
