hi charlie , if you still need to know about the competition rules i asked mike and he also thinks sweeping will be allowed . If you are still worried though about what will be allowed maybe you can find out from one of the officails on the day to confirm whats allowed .
Regards
Dean

Sweeping is allowed, although there are two problems with doing it. To actually catch someone with a full sweep in competition or elsewhere is pretty difficult anyway and scores nothing without a follow up technique. If you try it at all it's easier just to knock them off balance and score which scores two points anyway (chudan kick is also two points).
Better not to over think it really, just do your best, don't hang about (Eric), and as I said win or lose, people have respect for effort (well I do anyway, and I think I'm not alone in that).
Good Luck
