To whoever it is that maybe able to help with this , John G , Eric , Ken , Ray ....etc It has been asked by various parents in the past year or so about the syllabus books that we used to have . It seems that at the moment we are relying on the instructors memory for those who have not got a syllabus book or the ones that i have seen are about 10 + yrs old and require very careful handling to avoid them falling apart .
So it would be great if we could have another batch printed and made available to anyone who needs one if this is indeed possible , i could do with a new book myself and i know a few others who would buy one once/if they were available .

Hi Dean
Eric holds the supply of syllabus books, which are available to everyone normally through their Club Instructors.
I don't think that it is always wise just to rely on memory alone, also the last batch of books were slightly updated I remember, if you are a Club Instructor & your syllabus book is falling apart, that wouldn't look too good to the students & at £3.50 each are very reasonable to purchase - every student should have one (especially Instructors).
I hope that answers your questions, I find the term of 'used to have' slightly annoying as we always have had a decent supply of books & badges to my knowledge! & all my students have their own copy.
If any parents require anything they can use the forum to air their plea! - we are here to help!
see you soon
Ken
Yes as Ken says Eric always has a supply of the syllabus books, and this has I'm sure changed over time. Anyone needing the Dan grading syllabus can contact either there club instructor, Eric or in this case me and I can send one (this changed for 2006). Just a note on other items like suits, mitts, belts, punch bags etc. these can normally be bought more cheaply from your own club instructor, rather than a shop, so it's always wise to check before buying.
