Count me in. Ken, what do you think?

Hi Guys,
You can count me in also.
I do have some funding towards mats - but I would prefer the thicker mat (50 - 40 mm ) more expensive so if people are to contribute then that would be great!
After just returning from the European Wado Nationals & Japanese Master course where there was loads of grabbing/clinching then throwing (it was great to watch) in the bouts & all the stuff we do - its a great idea!
All contributions would be voluntary !
soon to be - keep on rollin' guys!
I was studying some takedowns this morning and considering the force you can put into them I too thought that the thicker the better. 50mm sounds like it will hurt a lot lest than 40mm, although ideally, I think that I need a 50cm mat to ensure my fragile little body escapes any damage.
I've had a look on the web as well, and buying new it looks to be around £35-40 per square metre for the 40-50mm thickness mats. Assuming we would need around 9 square metres (i.e. 3 mats by 3 square) this works out at about £320 - 360 in total. With ten fairly regular attendees at the moment (Ken, Tommy, me, Kevin, Ian, Dave, Matt, Linda, Gary and Peter) this actually works out at about £35 per head - unless we can find some cheaper mats?
One other thought - where would we store them? Is there room in the storeroom?
i doubt whether you would get much cheaper than that , and delivery included ...a good price i reckon ..
