Hiya,
We have held them before, but we've been a bit slack recently, I think we held one Christmas do in April one year lol. I'll mention it to Eric, since most things end up being organised by him (or Ken). Anyone else want to join in the conversation. Come on, u lot r so boring sometimes.
Hi yes we did used to hold christmas 'disco's' but again it is the same people
organising & turning up - so if anyone wants to take a turn at organising a'do'
please let me know - & would students from all clubs attend?
Organising these events does take up Eric & mine's time - & then if you don't
get the support......we have Sakagami sensei coming down to host a course
soon, we have a Brown/Black Belt course & A Dan Grading organised (see seminar page)
plus this weekend me, Eric, John, Peter & Tom are off to Maidenhead for 3 days for Japanese Master courses/European championships
all these things take time & money to organise - I hope that answers your question - yes it is a great idea I agree with you!
cheers
Hi all,
Geraldine has offered to organise something , thanks, although we're close to Christmas now so February is probably a more reasonable date for this. Well done to those taking the Dan grading yesterday, Peter (now 3rd dan - well overdue) and Tom (now 2nd dan).
Regards,
John
Yeh it would be, but this is for last year lol. Was going to mail u at 4am again to see if u reply at 5 past like last time. We r having our last session drink on Monday if u r interested.
all the best JG
Hopefully I'll be moving somewhere around epping in the new year, maybe we can go running or something. Will mail the rest, have a good one.
I will speak to Mike's students when we return on 11th Jan. I know I will attend and will try and get Mike to go although I have been informed that this is something he tends to miss. I would have offered to do it myself but I am organising a school reunion for later in the year.
Congratulations to all the students who graded on 14th and 21st December 2006. All students passed Woohoo. And to Tony for winning the house cup for the end of the year. Well deserved (Applause).
May I wish all at East London Wado Kai a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2007. Eat, drink and be merry and stay safe.
All the best,
Sue (Newham)
Hi Adrian,
Someone said u have turned into a bit of a tart ....... oh yeah, sorry that was me. Sue, I'll send u a a cattle prod to help u with Mike! I hope Santa had a good trip this year, I heard he's keeping an eye on everyones behaviour all year next year (as long as that doesn't include adults I should be alright). Sammy, see told u I would mention u on here (I found the ball for the table football, so life is sweet again).
Happy New Year
