Leukaemia Research Charity run

I'll be running the Dartford half marathon on 20th July for Leukaemia Research, so if you want to sponsor me for this worthwhile cause I have the usual sponsor forms or you donate online at the this address (they claim back the tax automatically). Last time I raised about £240 and hopefully will raise just as much if not more this time

Usual lack of planning with only 2 weeks to go! Apparently there is a hill between mile 9 and 10 for the whole mile (I've seen one or two comments about it cough!)

Just finished a while ago 2:08:37 though the official time is slightly slower as they don't allow for a mass of people crossing the start line. Anyway, thanks again for those who sponsored me and if you still want to you can go to the just giving site (link above), or let me know soon. Looks like I didn't need the water throwing over me, although one of the scouts at a water station said could he do it .....and my answer was.....

Well done John - wasn't bad day for your run (not as hot as last time you ran for charity) I hope that you forced yourself to a small sherry as it was well deserved!

£370 in total, just sending off the cheque today (£340 off line and 30 on line). Thanks again to all those who contributed, means a lot to me.
